I'm guessing the the totality of the screen is, at this point, a distraction, eating up some of my short-term working memory. What are your experiences?

....I think what happens with the screen is that I see a mistake in the last call sign I entered and that distracts me from getting on with the next one....Sometimes the anticipation of a new personal best score, or the knowledge that the next word or call sign will be near my current speed limit distract me from doing my best....73, Chuck  NI0C

Excellent post Chuck & thanks! I've noticed too getting stuck when anticipating a score. Good attention - however we achieve it - seems to be one of the keys. 73, Phil, W0XI
