Hi everyone
My friend and I were asking ourselves what happens if one changes his/her callsign and lets say they were working on a ARRL award. Are the contacts with the old callsign invalid.
Example --- WAS ----- 25 STATES UNDER XXXXX callsign
                      25 ATATES UNDER YYYYY callsign

Will the award still be granted?

Thanks in advance.

Happy New Year

Yes, they are all valid.

The awards forms even have a place to put your old call sign(s).  That way there is no confusion.

Well the referenced webpage above is for DXCC rules - however if you go to the .PDF application form for WAS on the ARRL site, you'll see (as N8UZE said) there's a place for "former" callsigns used for making the contacts.
