Really enjoying my recently acquired 270B but ran into an issue when trying to use the VX-2 vox module.  Hopefully someone has had the same problem and can point me in the right direction.  My problem is the that with the VX-2 installed the transceiver is always transmitting(keyed mic), no matter how low the vox gain is set.

Thanks in advance,

Don't know the VX2, but similar units from other manufacturers had problems. Does it have a relay to drive the tx PTT? If so, is it stuck? Some similar units used under rated reed realys which did stick closed. Or if it uses a transistor driver to the PTT line, is the transistor short circuit?

Thanks for the reply. I've located a schematic for the VX-2 but don't have it in front of me right now. I'll take a look at it tonight and let you know.
