Does anyone have experience programming a Wouxun KG-UV3D via software?  I specifically am wondering what is the purpose of the Frequency Mode, (A & B), under the Optional Features menu.  If I program freq., offset, tones, etc. on the main page, do I need to change the data under the Optional Features menu??  Your help is appreciated.

If you want to scan by frequency rather than by programmed channel, the frequency you set on that menu will be the starting frequency.  Also, the Step Frequency on that page will control both the frequency steps for frequency scans and the allowed frequency steps allowed when programming the channels.  And the Channel Display Way you select on that page will be the default display mode.

How do you extend received and/or transmit beyond what is in the box?
