I typically like to "Park" or retract my ATAS 120 antenna whenever I remove it from the truck. Also bring it down for general daily driving, if I'm not running the radio. In order to do this, I "auto-tune" on 6-meters. Is there a method to use that is easier? Perhaps create a memory button?
Thank you, Dave KI6LKP

Have one on my truck, too.  I don't generally mess around with lowering the antenna as there really isn't that much difference in height.  For instance, mine is mounted to the lip of the truck bed so lowering it does not substantially allow me to park in some parking decks in and around San Francisco where the height of the ceilings is surprisingly similar to a coal mine.

I don't know of any other method other than using the Manual tune buttons.  Seems like the 6-meter approach is easier to do while still in transit.

Cheers,

David
