I recently purchased a Bencher BY-2 key off of ebay.  The key is in really good shape, but NO cord or instructions on how to wire it.  Any Ideas...  Tnx  Brett  KB9RXR

There are three terminals underneath the keyer base for wire attachments.  One is "ground," or "common," and is not isolated from the base itself.  The other two are isolated with insulators (obvious). Of those two, one is the "dit" contact and one is the "dah" contact.  Which you use for which is up to you, and whether you're right-handed or left-handed.  The Bencher didn't come with any wires (when purchased new).  I own three of them, and they're great!
