I tripped across a very unusual series of tirades on Saturday AM and I was wondering if anyone had an idea about what was going on.  One ham had grabbed control of the frequency and was cussing and blasting, and insulting quite a few people while they were returning the language right back to him.  It got very personal and rather obscene as well and there were quite a few anti-American slurs.

I lost track of the FCC violations and I was hoping that there is something that could be done.

Someone said that my mother wears combat boots. It was all over from there. All hell broke loose.

Probably something to do with VE7KFM and his friends and foes.  It happens all the time and nobody does anything about it, other than jump in the pile.

The old inhabitants of 14.313 used to call it "radio fun".

A number of them have since gone SK but more than a few have returned to their favorite haunt, this time looking for a new windmill to tilt.

Mike, KA4MUJ once opined on the air that "...this is a disease..." with some folks - or words to similar effect.

As always, YMMV.

Come to think about it, I don;t think I have ever gone above 14.300 Maritime Net, except for contests. That is probably why others don't notice, too.

313 is also the number on Donald Duck's cars licence plate!
SSB without a BFO sounds like a duck!
Donald has frequent fits of temper and outbursts!
Is a pattern emerging, and why do I even know all this rubbish!
Oh, well its a slow day at work and I have nothing else to do except make eham posts!

Nothing to see here.

Just the Canadian goofball and his friends.
When you mix liquor and STUPIDITY, that is the result.

You will learn to avoid 14.275 and 14.313.

"This is your brain on drugs"...

"This is your brain on 14.313"

It is really sad, tertiary syphilis is treatable these days.

Has anyone ever though of starting an on line petition to express the Ham communities displeasure with these guys? Get enough Hams world wide to come in and sign onto it then send one to the Canadian authorities and one to the FCC.  It should get some attention if some actual recordings are put on the petition website and a few thousand names are attached to the letter; attesting to who is involved and a request to have their license revoked.

It looks as though there are quite a few comments on these guys here.  It is a shame what they are doing.

Industry Canada, the regulatory agency in Canada has FLATLY
stated that they will not do anything about the canadian goofball
because as far as they are concerned it is protected as free speech.

The commission these days is so understaffed and stretched so
thin, that regulating amateur radio is just about impossible.

They've been doing this for 20+ years. They aren't going to be stopped any time soon.

Also, a few of the players in that sad soap opera post here under names that have been reported in the past.  You can see them at the end of that "Field Day Disgrace" article that someone posted a link to.

The site W5GNB posted should be added to the censor-list here.  That and the other few sites related to that entire scene.
