 What if, instead of using a 102" whip like I am now for listening, I get an antenna built for 160m (MHF160
 of the like) and use a tuner to balance it to the desired frequency? I guess what I'm saying is, Is having the longest physical wire wound antenna out there like having the longest long wire? ALso, if I EVER get a decent HF mobile rig, could I use that with a tuner for good results for TX also?
 Anyone out there with a DX-394? My original one was knocked off the table by a cat and it only partially functions.....want to get back into SWLing in the truck and looking for ideas....
