I am looking for a program that will convert a text file into spoken letters. It would be great if it also allowed me to save the audio as a wav file and allowed me to vary the speed.

I find that the biggest problem with me advancing in speed is that I cannot write fast enough. I am hoping that by practicing having words spelled out for me, I  will learn the skill of hearing CW and not needing to write.

Thanks

WA5ROP, a blind ham friend of mine, passed this on to me:

"I use a software package called Window Eyes by GW Micro which is a screen access program that reads the various items on the screen in a synthesized voice using the computer’s soundcard.  For more information about the program and a downloadable demo version go to http://www.gwmicro.com."
