It's been reported that this amendment has been added to the bill as being given exemptions to the law--
AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3972
(7) a driver using two-way radio citizens band radio services or two-way mobile radio transmitter or receivers as licensees of the Federal Communications Commission in the amateur radio service.... shall not be affected by this law.
As many of you know there have been folks that seemed to think their logic was superior to others and actually thought that their cry would be heard. Fortunately the powers that be and majority obviously thought other wise with appropriate common sense and logic yet once again prevailing.
Thank goodness there are smarter people in office than the ones that wanna destroy our safety, welfare and enjoyment that two way radio has the potential for many and proven as such. Let's call it freedom as well as it should be called. Common sense and logic prevails once again over doom and gloom troll Mongers with no common sense nor logic.
Enough said and no need to worry that your earned freedom will be taken away by domineering self proclaimed superior intellectual giants.
