PSKMail Getting exciting. Try it out !

Hi All,
PSKMail has been around for a while, and is now getting more organized and exciting.
The UI software can be downloaded on Windows.
Several radio message servers in North America can be contacted via HF USB.
The digital modes used are all in the popular FLDigi software which acts as the virtual TNC for PSKMail.
PSK250 is the default mode in the USA, but the server will adjust the mode according to the propagation conditions.
Like Outlook Express, PSKMail will display and send your email and small attachments to and from your chosen regular email account.
For more information go to http://pskmail.wikispaces.com/

KC9SGV,
Chicago.

PSKMail works really well, guys.

Now that the email client software can be run on Windows, I expect it to be more accessible.

We will be playing with it again this coming weekend.
Please try to connnect to any of the servers on the below link.
Some servers are scanning other frequencies, so they might not be listening to you at the time.
The more servers we get in the USA, the easier it will become.
The KC9SGV-5 server in Chicago is fixed on 14.110 MHz USB or 7.103 MHz USB dial during the day and 3.595 MHZ USB dial at night.

Please download the free software and try to connect.
The latest stable client software is PSKMail 1.5.5
We need to iron out some small bugs yet.

Best 73,
KC9SGV
Sysop KC9SGV-5 PSKMail Server

Hey Guys!

I have been trying to download the latest PSKMail program which I guess is JPSKMail ver 1.5.5.
No luck! It say 59minutes to Download. That's crazy for being on Broadband! I'm showing 2.5kb/sec.
I was able to get ver 1.0.0 with NO problem. Can someone try sending the file to me?

All's good now. I was finally able to get the 1.5.5 ver downloaded.
The Server must have been having issues.
Now all I need now is help in get the Client configured.

Download and client Manual.

Bear in mind that PSKMail is completely open source software.
Nobody gets paid, but very excellent minds contribute to to it daily.
It is getting better and more user-friendly as we speak.
The present developing team is acutely aware of the user-friendly aspect.

Download the latest Windows client software - go here:
  http://www.pskmail.org/downloads/jPSKmail-1.5.7-Setup.exe

Download the latest PSKMail client manual here:
    http://pskmail.org/downloads/jpskmail_manual-1.5.7.pdf

To see the latest real time active servers and clients go here:
   http://www.pskmail.it/

    For server frequencies, go here:
    http://pskmail.wikispaces.com/PSKmailservers

Put yourself on the users map by connecting to a server via radio:
    Servers are blue.
    Users are red.

The KC9SGV-5 PSKMail server is completely operational as of this weekend.

Please try to connect and test the server.
Send and receive emails, get news files, GRIB files, send APRS gating info, etc.

Main frequency is 10.147 MHz USB dial, but also 14.110, 7.103 and 3.595 Mhz USB dial at times, or as requested.
 Main digital mode is PSK250
