Hi there, anyone out there happen to be using an Icom M710 with WINMOR and RMS Express? I am having some difficulty getitng it working since RMS Express does not support CAT PTT. SO, I can't figure out the right cables to make it happen. I can do WIMOR keyboard connects with NZ3H's HAM Radio Integrator.

Anyway, if you happen to have this working and can explain how you are setup, I would much appreciate it!

I should probably mention I'm on a boat, that's why the M710.

If you'd like to see RMS Express better support the M710, you can vote it up into their to do list here:

Working from first principles (without detailed knowledge of the M710):

. . . Does the M710 have a PTT (push-to-talk) line to the microphone?  Or is there a PTT pin on a rear-panel connector?

If so, you should be able to use any standard sound-card interface between the computer and the M710.

. . . What kind of rear-panel "data" socket do you have?

. . . What kind of sound card are you using?

PS -- I assume you're on the WINMOR group in Yahoo:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WINMOR

Somebody there might be an M710 user.
