Some possibilities: Noise from switching power supply, noise from LCD monitor, noise from touchlamp.  Cut power/unplug various devices to see if it goes away.

Tried all of those.  I enclosed my softrock kit in a plastic box when I built it.  I think I'll try wrapping it in some aluminum foil.  The noise is definitely getting into either it, or the EMU 0202 somewhere.

Yeah, wrapping in tin foil should work...  It'll keep out the UFO rays.  Roll Eyes

Be sure and keep the I/Q output ground isolated from the PS and RF input grounds.
