My QSO's from the past week are not showing up.  Anyone noticed a delay in your uploads?  Thanks.

It's safe to assume that delays are due to processing many logs from the CQ WPX RTTY contest.

I uploaded a file Saturday afternoon, it was on LOTW in less than 5 min.
Uploaded another yesterday and it is on LOTW as well.  Gene AF3Y

Thanks.  What is strange is that when I looked up another call (9J2RI) it said it was uploaded this morning.  Does the upload time stamp mean the time the QSOs were processed or the actual time of the file upload?  When I looked up my own call (W6GX) it shows that the last upload was 2-8-2012.  I have uploaded several times since 2-8-2012.

I think that is the "when processed" time. I uploaded my last log an hour or so before my "last upload" time shown.

LOTW has been pretty peppy for me the last week. I uploaded a file in the middle of last week and within a few minutes it was processed. Then I uploaded again just hours after the RTTY WPX and it was processed in less than an hour.

I would assume that after a week, the upload was "lost" and go ahead and upload again. I had to do this a couple times in December.

Yes I would upload again. I had an upload that never made it, once before. I think that uploads can get "lost" from the queue.

An update.  I have not re-uploaded my Qs.  This morning my QSLs showed up from the upload I did this past week.  So for some reason the upload processing was delayed.  All is good now.  Thanks to all those that replied to my post.

What kind of servers are they using, some old single core stuff?  A modern server system should be able to handle this kind of load just about in real time.

From my last upload:
Quote
2012-02-13 04:55:03 LOTW_QSO: Successfully processed 131 QSO records in 8.034630 seconds

So it can process about 16 per second or 57,000 per hour. Imagine how many records are uploaded after a contest.

A better test is using the Logbook Status on the LoTW home page it is updated realtime. At Feb 15 0006Z it shows:
Quote
401,843,448    QSO records have been entered into the system.

Let's see what it shows in 24 hours.

Now at 0007Z LoTW shows:
Quote
402,174,605    QSO records have been entered into the system.

That's 331,157 in 24 hours, or 13,798 per hour. This is assuming it had a total backlog of uploads from the contest and there was no downtime. Not sure what this proves without knowing the backlog. But it does sound like a lot.

The log I just uploaded was processed practically instantaneously.
