Gene, describe your antenna 'farm' which brought you to 300.
Since Dec. of 2010, it has been
only a S9 31' tall wire vertical, here at the Florida QTH.
Prior to that, the antennas at the S.C. QTH were: Hustler 6BTV for 30m, 40m, and 80m; a homebrew delta loop for 17m and a Force 12 C-3SS mini tribander for10m, 15m and 20m (The tribander would also play on 12m with help from my tuner). The tribander was up around 43' or so.
Not really a "farm"...... more of a "garden", but it got the job done. Prior to the 3 antennas, I had a G5RV, and later a Comet CHA-250B vertical which I never did like that well. I got rid of them for the 6BTV pretty early in my DX adventure.
I operated barefoot for the first couple years. Finally added an Ameritron 600w amp and now there is a Tokyo HyPower HL-2.5Kfx in the shack for when I need it. hi
