wiring shure 444d mic to k'wood ts-450s

hi,  anyone have info on pin connections to wire a shure 444d mic  to k'wood ts-450s.
i don't need the up/down button functions as on the original stock k'wood mic.

   From the 444 to the 8-pin plug for the Kenwood, red and black go to pins 2 & 8 for PTT.  White for MIC to pin 1 and shield for MIC GND to pin 7.  Both of the manuals are available online if you poke around.
