I have seen an old tabell from the 20's for the Internationa Morse code.

Punktation (period sign) is  6 dots  ( . . . . . . )
And , Comma uses .-.-.- (New period sign)

Is that all the difference ?

I remember when I learned the code that ( and ) were both the same [KK]

The exclamation mark ! is obviously not clear, Heath company did something about that as a kind of industrial standard.

and of course is a difference the added @ sign.
