I have a TW4000A dual band 2m/70cm transceiver.  Unable to find the OWNERS MANUAL anywhere.  Have downloaded the SERVICE MANUAL but it does not explain controls or operation.  I would also like to find out if the CTCSS or PL board is installed.
Can someone point me to an OWNERS MANUAL?

According to Google, it can be found here...

The subaudible board for the TW4000 is encode only; you get to set one tone for VHF and one tone for UHF.

If you can see dip switches in the hole near the rear of the bottom cover, you have the encoder.

The instruction manual is also available at 'mods.dk'.

It's one of Kenwood's better radios, albeit dated.
