I'm curious as to what this is.  Tonight it was on 28.057 and appeared to be AM.  It is a female voice, I can't make out what she is saying but it is only a couple of syllables accompanied by a loud beep which was killing any attempt to copy cw stations.  I have heard of the bootlegging but this doesn't sound like a bootlegged cb.  It doesn't sound like she is calling cq.  This is my first time on 10m CW so forgive me if it is common knowledge.

You have stumbled across "then thar upper channels on them thar CB wadiodios."   Yep, it's CB.  And you are hearing a roger beep.  Sorry to say, that's life.

If you are hearing them, you can get on their "channel" and call a long CQ on CW and they just may move.

Fun to try, anyway.
