1.  As far as the radios go, it might be a little tough doing PSK while QRP (Digital on low power - less than 5 watts). You still will need some "umph" to push the signal. I regularly use in the 30 to 50 Watt range and do ok.

Assuming you mean "morse code", Yes. Get a copy of GWGet for your computer. When I first downloaded it I had no interface for my new laptop, so I plugged a mike into the mike jack and hung it in front of the speaker of my HF transiever and it works remarkably well. With the interface connected, even better. It will NOT copy sloppy code. No reader will (yet). MultiPSK, while it will copy Morse is far inferior to CWGet.

I use it because alot of the rare DX are running faster than my old brain can dig out of the pile and it gives me chance of getting the ones I am missing (lots).
