Hello:

Does anyone know where I can find the module to run these radios on DC.

More to the point. In an emergency would it be better to run these off my Honda EU200i or to seek out the module and use batteries.

Thanks,

I'm not aware of any DC module for the TS-530.

I'm not aware of any DC module for the TS-530.

Pretty sure yes on the S but the SP dropped the option. Per K4EAA's generous offering on all subjects Kenwood Hybrid. That's what I drew from it.

The modern invertor is much more efficient, translates to longer use off of battery plus less loss due to heat.

I'd go with the modern inverter.

hi,

get a used APC 600 smartups,
this series can be powered up from battery,
no a/c necessary.

it has full sine wave output, you can modify it
with some powerpole connectors and an
external battery.
