Please

Forgive me if this has already been asked.  I am visually handicapped and it takes me a long time to read.

I use an iPad, which is the only computer I can see.  I'd like to control my IC-7600 through my iPad if possible.  I guess HRD is good software for rig control, but I don't think it will run on my iPad.  Is there an alternate software app that I can use?

I have a wireless network here at home.

Can anyone help with ideas or suggestions?

Thanks and 73,
Scott. KG9SF

The PigRemote from Pignology LLC could work well for you.  I use one to control my Elecraft KX3 from both my iPad and my iPhone.  It works both locally via your local network and worldwide via the internet.  It does not require a local computer of any kind at the radio and handles both rig control and audio.

I want to control my IC-7600 using my iPad Air tablet.

Is software available for my iPad?

All replies are appreciated.

I'm looking at an application called Splashtop. It's way better than the windows 7 remoting capabilities, just way better resolution and no audio stutter. It has a quarter second or so audio delay. If you connect your rig to a computer and then remote in to that computer with splashtop from your tablet you can do what you want probably.
