I believe that very few people would buy a vehicle with only hamming in mind.

A glance through any of the "Antenna Restrictions" forums will reveal many comments from ops that bought homes and property with only hamming in mind.  A vehicle is typically much cheaper.

This one has plenty of room for the driver and radios, with a substantial area for a vertical antenna.
