I'm restoring a R390-A ( a classic boat anchor of a receive if you ever saw one!) and have been casting around for the appropriate IERC tube shields. All's well except for the 6020-B which is a medium 9 pin shield. and seems to be scarce as hens teeth - probably because it's the most frequently used one. Can anybody help point me in an appropriate direction? No reasonable offer refused. Ideally i'd like 12, but 9 would do.

Thanx   Pete

Pete:

I've had a number of 390A's but I can't recall one with a 6020-A.  The only 9-pin tubes were the 5814A & the two rectifiers.  Maybe somebody "substituted" on you.  Which tube is it?  Where is it on the chassis or in the circuits.

PS:  If you need shields for the 390A, try Fair Radio Sales in Lima, Ohio.  419-227-6573

Read the top post closely and you'll see the 6020-B is the part number of an IERC tube shield, not a tube.

Just for grins I looked up a 6020 tube and found no such animal, but there is a 6020 aluminum alloy.
