With Hostess Bankruptcy now official what will hams feed on during those long contest nights. This is a real crisis. Imagine thousands of hams wondering outside their home for the first time in years and seeing light! Better stock up on SPF 35 sun screen.

They will be back, made by someone else but same name and taste. With annual sales of 500 million Twinkies, someone will take that product back into production. Hostess was also 2nd largest bread maker in US too.

Besides, any existing twinkies are likely to last for 10 to 20 years, even standing
out on a shelf (as several studies have shown.)  So stock up now for the next
generations...

I'm going to start eating lard.  It's probably more healthy than most of the stuff Hostess makes.

The movie "UHF" forever changed my perception of Twinkies.  A classic.

A Twinkie is also seen in the animated Pixar movie, WALL-E.
Appropriate that it survived 700 years on Earth after humans left,
to serve as food for WALL-E's pet cricket.

At UNH they use twinkies to block neutron radiation, so they're gonna take a hit on that program.

Ate one yesterday after I heard the news.

I'm good for another 20 years.

As for Wonder "bread," life's too short for that stuff. It's a little like McDonalds. Every so often I get the idea I want a Quarter Pounder or their french fries. Then, as soon as I'm done I always wonder what the hell I was thinking!
