I finally got my antenna up today it is a Comet GP3 fed with Times Micro LMR-400 coax, I have it on the roof at about 25ft at the bottom of the antenna.

It's fun to get a new antenna into the air, isn't it? :-)  How is it working--have you had a chance to try it out yet?

Congrats.  I am in my mid 60's.  I still vividly remember as a teenager climbing trees to install wires as long and as high as possible and then returning to the shack to see how much better I could receive DX.
