The forum time always messes with me a little, though I now realize I have to add 3 hours since I am in the Eastern time zone (far west edge thereof).

Suggestion: why not change the site time to UTC?  It is afterall pretty much an international site, right?

We have talked about doing this for the entire site - it make sense.  The thing that has stopped us
has been that we are not sure what will break on the site if we move the site to UTC.  We have been working on new code for the entire site and the plan all along has been that when we roll out the new code we will switch to UTC at that time.

great!  it might be interesting to find out what (if anything) breaks from the switch, but if you are rolling out new code soon then it makes perfect sense to have the time change coincide with that...  it is kind of nice how UTC is immune to DST LOL
