Anyone know of a slow speed CW net.  I am rusty in copying code and would like to get back into it.  I would like to back up to at least 13 but as I said I am rusty.  Any ideas? Thanks.

I'll gladly slow down to any speed for anyone. CW is fun at any speed.

Don't forget ARRL has code practice every night (check their arrl.org website for times / speeds /etc). I remember listening to it on an HW-16 we were lent as students in my science teachers class as we were practicing the code for our novice class. They usually pick out an article and send a few paragraphs (or the whole thing depending on what speed code practice).

Try the FISTS website. FISTS is the best place to go for those new to CW.

From this Forum, a few months ago:

Try the K9YA practice net, which meets every Wednesday evening at 1900 hrs Central Time on 7.121 MHz. The first Wednesday of each month is "high speed" night for the experienced brass pounders, and all subsequent Wednesday evenings are "slow speed" nights where the net slows down to the speed of the slowest participant.

It is a good net, and a great bunch of hams.

73 es CU on CW!
