Has anyone mounted a HF rig in a Chevy Equinox? I am mounting a Yaesu FT-857D in my 2011 Chevy Equinox, using the separation kit and need advice on where to mount the radio,  the head and where to get power for the radio.
Thanks in advance and 73,
Ralph AA8P

I have checked eHam for how to install a radio and get power through the firewall in my pick-up truck.

I've checked a couple of post on install questions. I guess there's little or no help here, unless I just missed something. So much for eHam. These are the reasons why I hardly ever come to eHam, doesn't seem to be much help for the new guy. I did use the testing help & I used the swapmeet to look at stuff for sale, but that's it.
