Any thoughts? I'm still a bit cheesed about working what I can only presume was a PT0S impersonator.

I hope that's the only one you've ever encountered or will ever encounter. If you have a directional antenna sometimes it will help determine its validity but no guarantee. Randy

I can only guess, but probably a combination of a lack of ethics and a lack of a sense of accomplishment. If one cannot be powerful being creative, there is always the cheap route of mimicking power by being destructive.

That's like asking why people break windows, or slash somebody's car tires, or hack a computer site for no financial gain. I guess they get some kind of a warped thrill from their actions but I'm not a Psychologist so it's purely an educated guess.

The same reason folks call in false fire alarms. It gives them a sense of power and attention.

Damn, now I will have to add Greek humor as another I don't find funny, but the Greeks have an awfully good excuse at not being funny. They are mainly known for their great Mythological and Tragic stories. I think SV2ASP/A, EP3TH, and EZ2ALY on 20 meters after 2000 UTC will turn out to be both a Myth and a tiny bit Tragic for those listening on 14.020. 73, Chris/NU1O

I'm afraid you are right, solar flux is down to 107 - you may try 7028 at 22:00 UTC.

Chris/NU1O, let us not forget the Greek bravery in combat against overwhelming odds: the last stand of the 300 at Thermopylae
