Went through your website looking at each piece of gear you restored.  I need to spend as much time looking for a more descriptive term than "impressed" or "impressive!"  Beautiful work Dale.

Now a question.... Have you ever considered writing a book describing your procedures for restoration?  You answered a few questions for me but without a doubt there is a book full of suggestions or procedures that many of us would like to see.

I have just posted a photo of the station accessory I built for my Hallicrafters FPM-300 MK II; dubbed  FPM-300SA
The accessory adds:
1. Hi Fi front firing speaker
2. Switchable 14dB gain front end preamp.
3. audio CW filter with an active audio stage to make up for the filter's insertion loss
4. RIT This is really necessary if you don't want to be listening to the other station at a 1400 Hz tone
5. Internal 200W dummy load
6. Custom wattmeter using a meter from a parts FPM-300

Nice Ocean Hopper restoration,
looks like it just left 25th Avenue in Melrose Park, IL (Knight-Kit of Allied Radio) 60 years ago for Christmas!

I have just about finished my restoration of the KW Electronics KW-2000B. These were Brittain's answer to the Collins KWM-2 and existed in a number of models- each with  a bit different features and front panel graphics. Like the Collins, it is all aluminum construction, runs a pair of 6146's  and tunes in 200KHz band segments. Overall, the rig is a bit smaller than the KWM-2 rigs. The 2000B tunes at a wonderfully smooth 6kHz/revolution. But unlike the Collins, it has 160M and also has RIT/XIT (they called those terms IRT/ITT). I bought the rig from a ham in England and had it and the P.S. shipped over. Quite  dirty, scraped up  and had a LOT of electrical issues which I hope to go into more detail on the website as time permits. Until then enjoy.....
