Does anyone have an idea on the ball park price of the 7100?

Nobody is advertising a price yet.  When it was first announced last August, estimates put it at around $1875.  But those same estimates put North American availability around October, so who know?  Gigaparts wants $20 up front to reserve one.

MSRP of the IC-7100 is shown as 165,900 Yen on the Icom Japan website.  That would equate to ~$1,820 USD.  Only time will tell what they actually end up selling for here in the states.

Thanks fr the trickle of info guys.  Looks like a pretty cool radio.  I'm shopping for my 1st HF rig.  Perhaps the 7100 should be in consideration.

The word over here is 1700 Pounds Sterling. Should sell reasonably well here because our version will have 4 metres designed into it (50 watts)
