Hello , am using different radios with either a alpha 87A or Ten Tec titan III 417  I am wondering is worth getting something like


Ameritron Inrush Current Protectors ICP-120   

are these any good ?  is there another company that makes something similar that would be better ?  thanks for your suggestions .  John kb2huk

I think both of these amps may already have step starts built in!!!!!!!!!!  Check your schematics
