Hey Rich,
I had a QSO with TX5T before the DXA was running. I don't see my call listed when I plug it in to the "Call Search" on the DXA page. Normal? Or should I work them again on 40? I hate to dupe.
EDIT: Nevermind, I thought the DXA was working for a moment, but it doesn't look like it now.
DXA hasn't been running - they had to make the decision to NOT start up yesterday (late last night) and wait until DXA was set up - or just get on the air. They decided to get on the air - so as not to lose another day. Things will all come together now - (I hope) - I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway - just for insurance.

Rich, If keeping your fingers crossed is insurance for DXpeditions, I will hire you to sit in my shack! So far, it sounds like things are coming together with this DXpedition. I was able to grab them on 30 meters this morning with little problem, so an ATNO for me!! 73 de Jim - KE8G

Worked them on 10 meters about an hour ago... puny weak on 30 meters at this time. I should have gotten up earlier! But, good to see them QRV; and I'll sleep better when I see my call in their logs! ATNO for me as well!

Rich/KY6R, remind me what they are using for antennas? After reading "Array of Light" I am convinced that phased verts on DXpeds are the way to go; is that what they are using?

They are using half squares and phased vertical dipole arrays. Right near the water.

I' ve heard them VERY well on 15 and 17m; weakly on 10m, here on the east coast. I couldn't make it through the pileups, but their signals are great and I think I've got a good chance when the pileups thin out. Sounds like there are some GREAT ops on CW and RTTY both!

Excellent antenna choice. I hope the operators in Asia and EU are able to work them once the pileups die down after this weekend.

Just got him on 40m SSB, hopefully this time it's legit After 0615 Z - it is the real McCoy. CONGRATS! It was at 12:15z ... but http://www.dxa2.org/ says I am not in the log. Hopefully the 40m SSB contacts from this morning are not yet uploaded It does show that they have worked 2199 QSO's so far (858 CW 636 SSB 291 DIGITAL) this was one of those times when i definitely heard him repeat my call correctly...

I sure would like to know if the QSOs from before DXA started running are included in the totals or not. (I can't believe how bad I've got DX fever. )

I hope they will get the qso's made before the DXA came on line into the logs tonight.

Yep, I was one of those too. just checked KY6R's latest blog by realizing to do so I just needed to change the date in the web address and found the following reassuring note: "PLEASE NOTE: if you do not see an earlier QSO in your DXA display – do not worry, the system will be processing backlogged log files, and eventually your “greenies” will show up." http://ky6r.com/2013/03/02/
