I just got my General in October and was wondering if there are any nets on the West Coast USA that I could join. I came across Noontime Net and checked in, but that's not really a net per se, just some guys taking check ins. I know there was a thread about this subject on this forum earlier, but that seems to be focused on the east coast, so I decided to start one for the west coast. Keep in mind that I don't have 75/80 meter capability. Most of the nets I have happened across are for specific regions or specific interests that I don't fit into. I've come across the Jefferson Net for people in north CA/south OR, but I don't live in that area. I also came across an RVers net, but that isn't me either. An emergency net for ARES/RACES members, which leaves me out too. Any ideas?

Go ahead and give me your ideas for 80 meters too, it turns out that I found a G5RV antenna that I have space for and that will work on 80m. I plan to buy it and put it up.

here is one, if the time of 11:00 am west coast time is convenient for you. Very informal and friendly.  No roll calls, lots of different subjects on a particular day. You might consider putting an email on your QRZ page too.  cheers.

What about Murray's 7235 net daily on 40M?  People start checking in during a very informal rag chew that starts about 11am.  They then go thru the list starting around 11:30am.  There is a swap list that is read every Mon/Wed/Fri and new for sale and want listings can be made any day of the week.  Murray, the host is WA6USL.

FYI
