The following email exchange took place today. It is in response to an ad I placed to buy, not sell, a crystal calibrator.

Let me guess: he will pay by cashier's check for more than I want to sell the item for (whatever it may be), have his agent arrange pick up from me and will ask me to refund the extra amount paid in the cashier's check.

I have removed actual email addresses. Interesting to note his email address changed from GMAIL to YAHOO partway through, although you can't see it.

Read the thread from the bottom up for it to make sense.

If nothing else, it makes for a humorous reading. Be careful out there!

The bad grammar and English is a dead giveaway.
