I have been contacted by someone posing as Michael E. See, AA2HC, offering to sell a number of not so common items being sought by myself. I have asked for photos and number of pieces offered, he has not sent any photos, but insists he has them. I hope I'm wrong, but I smell a rat. Undecided.......Lee

Could be that the person doesn't have a means to put the pictures you requested on the net or in the mails.  There is a simple solution.  If you don't feel comfortable dealing with him....  don't.  Simply tell him that you don't feel comfortable making a deal without seeing some pictures of the goods and other specifics.  73.
