No that he is in the news an his so called "reputation" is in the spotlight for all the local hams an non hams to see, hopefully maybe now the FCC and FBI will do something and put an end to his shenanigans for good.   Makes you wonder why the FCC won't revoke his license instead of keeping granting him new calls like they been doing. They got to been aware of his scam stunt from the numerous people he scammed that filed complaints about him Huh

I think a extended stay in a nice 8x10 grey room is well needed for him and his wife as she's just as guilty as he is.

The FCC won't revoke his call until there've been many, many more complaints filed and proven.  After all, look at K1MAN in Maine.  His licence is still up on the renewal list under 'administrative review,' so he's still on the air!

Hey!  Now 650 views in just over 27 hours!

Well guys, it's up to US to do this. I can't really go into detail, but lets just say there are many "agencies" and "bureaus" looking into this. I can't tell you how happy I am to see this going forward, and all I ever asked of him was to send my property back. Seriously, I even said I would reimburse him for the shipping. Either you're the dumbest person alive, or seriously are such a career criminal that you take the risk, no matter the outcome.

I for one say we make a petition. I've already heard about 50-60 people have already contacted the FCC and ARRL. Immediate revocation of his license would be a START, but that still won't stop him from conning people out of property. If you're going to go after him, go after everything. Throw the book at him to make an example.

remember, make sure to repost the news link on EVERY possible media outlet you can, share on your facebook account, retweet....ANYTHING YOU CAN DO....Send it to other news agencies. Information is power. This should be a test of our teamwork.

Local News: An online email newspaper in a town of 6,700.
OTOH, him being in a small town is a good thing.
MUCH more likely to be known and recognized.
Well, it's a start!
I've been reading ham and radio forums
for a long time and this guy is almost as notorious
as whats-his-name over at Radio Mart. And he
has the temerity to post photos of himself on the
Net with his quad runners, motorcycles, and
other boy toys.....no doubt helped funded by ill
gotten gains from hard working hams.

This a**bite makes me puke.
I hope and pray he gets what's coming to him.
The fellows scammed won't get their money or gear back,
but it'd be nice to see Pinson behind bars for a few years,
ending up some big dude's BGFF!  Grin

Scamming through the mail is a Federal felony,
too bad the Federal prisons are far, far nicer than the
state prisons!

Send it to this: http://www.thenewstribune.com/

See if they'll pick up the story; it's a bigger paper.

UPDATE:

1. He's still in the news
2. until he returns property, his amazon and ebay accounts are suspended.
3. possible grand larceny charges

More to come i'm sure. Many hams are now involved making this some together, and thank you for that. He's pissed off enough people to become famous because of it.

And think, all I wanted was my silly iPad back  Roll Eyes

Glad to see that ebay and amazon finally stepped up an suspended his accounts hope they suspended his wifes accounts while they were at it. Guys like this guy are a disgrace to the ham world!  He deserves what ever happens to him from the FCC and FBI and any one else that goes after him.

Awesome.  Love your follow-through.  If only more would follow your lead and stand up to thieves and scammers.

Update. I should be getting my iPad back today, most likely damaged by Don. Still though, I am glad to see it come back to me. Still not getting my hopes up because he most likely has packed a box with dirt. I'm sure he will say "oops wrong box" or something clever like that. All I care is that Don and his wife have lost all capability to do ANY online selling on Ebay, Amazon and other sites. He's now under investigation for grand larceny. I said it would catch up to you Don.

I would not have gotten this far if it was not for the Credit Bureau of Ypsilanti. They are amazing.

We will see what FEDEX brings in today. Hopefully it's not ticking.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
