I notice some 'posters' on eHam have an addendum with a line or double line separator between the post and the addendum.

Is this done once and automatically added to each post or is it one with each post? (Read added work)

If it is automatically done for each post, how is it done?

It's called a "signature". Most forums have them (for better or worse!)

Log in, click "Profile" at the top of the forums area, then on the left side click "Forum Profile Information", then scroll way down.
