Can someone kindly provide a link to a supplier of this tube who will ship internationally and accept Credit/Debit card payment.

I contacted Ameritron, unfortunately they still trade in the finacial middle ages and will only accept international payments by wire for which they demand an additional $25 fee!

I presume, as this amp has four of these tubes, that a 'matched pair' will not be necessary for replacement.

Thanks in advance.

Brian --

The parts are in UK, which is much closer to you (Cyprus).

The 811A glass tube may still be mfg. at JJ/Tesla in Slovak Republic.

The tubes are in parallel. You don't need matched tubes.

 Hi.

Try these folks.  I have bought tubes and electronic components from them several time. Good service and nice to deal with.  I have purchased
their "Taylor" 811A's with generally good results. My understanding is that RF Parts actually does some basic testing in an attempt to cull out
bad tubes before shipping. I would strongly warn you that in today's manufacturing environment, the quality and initial failure
rate on tubes like the 811A is quite high, regardless of the source. Don't be stunned if you have a tube that goes bad.....just part of current reality.
The corollary is be sure your vendor is honest and has a warranty they will honor. That said, it is generally not economical to ship an 811A back for
a warranty claim.... shipping is as much as the tube!
