Hi All'
The mechanical rotary counter on the front panel of my Capco SPC 300 has more or less worn out, There are no ID or makers marks anywhere on the counter.
I was wondering if any of you chaps may know the make of this counter or have replaced similar on your own Capco ATU.
I realise I may be fishing in the dark, but if you don't ask you don't get  Cheesy
Best regards, es 73. Mal.

Mal: I'm not familiar with your particular ATU or counter but I have built several ATUs and a linear amplifier where I incorporated turns counters.

Have you Googled "turns counters" or checked eBay?  Down through the years I've bought several.  Be prepared for "sticker shock!"

When you do your research which I'm sure will give you results, don't forget to check and see which way the numbers 'roll' with the crank.  I've encountered this problem and have had to relearn which way to 'roll' the numbers to get the capacitance or inductance I desire.

You can find belt driven turns counters inside old reel to reel and casette decks.

May or may not be exact replacement for the original, but I've often been able to come up with a scheme to install one in place of a broken counter in antenna tuners.

I can't for the life of me, find the link I saved to the one I bought.
I have the spc300 and the spc3000.
It's either RS spares or Farnel but, but they DO keep them.
It's the four digit on obviously !!
Sorry I can't find the link !!
