On my first decode, WSJT-X gives this error code: Error in KV decoder, or no KV decoder present
I'm guessing that the computer clock is not adjusted correctly.
Oh, this is on a Win 8.1 machine. Most of the Win 7 programs seem to work on it.
Thanks in advance.
Possibilities are: 1) the software did not properly install; 2) there is an incompatibility with Win 8.1; and/or 3) misconfigured settings.
Doesn't sound like a clock problem. Do you see a 'normal' waterfall? What other software is running?
If audio settings are properly configured, can you hear the JT65 audio? Can you transmit JT65?
On the menu bar, what have you selected for "DECODE" method? Try the "FAST" setting.
