This past weekend was the Georgia QSO Party, this coming weekend is MI, NE and both North and South Dakota QSO parties. You can see the full list, contest times and rules, etc. here.

If you are new to contesting, state QSO parties are a great way to get started on both CW and SSB. If you are into county-hunting, a great way to "fill in" a state, too.

Don't forget that the Florida QSO Party is in 2 weeks.  That is one of the QSO parties with the highest level of activity.

Georgia, then Michigan followed by Florida.
3 of the biggest contests on consecutive weekends.

I need to get the 80m dipole up this week!

You will not need 80m for Florida.

Be sure to get the newest version of N1MM for QSO party logging. Lots of new functionality to support these contests, including support for shorthand exchanges in next week's 7QP, better rover and county line operation modes and logging, etc.
