While the Elecraft P3 panadaptor is very good, it's just not as good as using an LP-Pan and NaP3 software with an Orion II . . . By the way, the LP-Pan setup with any of the transceivers I mentioned is light years ahead of what's available on the $10K+ rigs.

Mega +1 on the LP-PAN setup with my K3.  It has added a whole new interesting dimension, as if taking the HF band from 2 dimensions to 3 dimensions.  Just a beautiful display and often-useful mouse-click control of the rig.  Both Elecraft and LP-PAN are USA-based companies with great product support.
