I wrote a short story about the E51DXX  vacation / DX-Pedition to Rarotonga, South Cooks Islands.

http://ag1le.blogspot.com/2013/04/e51dxx-dx-pedition.html

Thanks for all the great tips in this forum that helped me to prepare for this unforgettable vacation trip.

I was blown away how well Elecraft KX3  performed with only 5 Watts and a vertical dipole at beach.
I would also like to thank all the hams who worked my QRP station.

I have already received a pile of QSL cards - now I need to get my E51DXX card created and printed.
My logs have been uploaded to eQSL  and I will upload to LoTW as soon as I get my LoTW certificate.

How many stateside vs other places? I would imagine some places are a chip shot from there but a dipole with QRP is going to be tough to other places.

You were not booming in here on the West Coast but you still had a respectable signal for 5W and a vertical on 10 meters Smiley Glad I had the chance to get you in the log and hope you had a great time Mauri. Thanks for the quick LOTW confirmation!

Yep, thanks for the LoTW confirmation.  Smiley Our QSO kinda piqued my interest in QRP.
