HELP PLEASE!!!!!   Shocked

I'm in desperate need of an owners manual for the above machine - hoping to get the lads in my Scout Troop interested in morse and amateur radio in general.  All the links I've found on the net are no longer operative, which is a bit of a blow to moral.  Obviously an emailed  PDF would be great, but I'm also very happy to pay for copy and postage fee's or even a reasonable amount for a genuine edition.

I also have a spare copy of the instructions/service data for a 7000E if anybody would like them.

Any other information regarding the 9000E would be greatly appreciated also.

email skippygli@blue(pants)yonder.co.uk (remove pants to make the address valid)  Grin Many thanks  M6TGT/2E0TGT  - 73's Lin.

Yes, very expensive all-in-one RTTY / CW console in 1970s/1980s made by TONO Corporation (Japan).

TONO CORPORATION

The TONO THETA 9000 series was manufactured in 1985.

Today, the DSP sound card and home computer has more processing ability (not an option in 1970s) --
BUT purpose built equipment has its place and usage.

BTW, Most Tono machines are equiped with batteries for memory-backup.
Some even still contain the original batteries.
If you get your hands on one of these its wise to open up the case and remove the old batteries.
Old batteries will start to leak and may damage internal components.
