I'm trying to locate a HAM who was an Army Captian at Ft Hood Texas in 1979.  We were in the 1st of the 41st Infantry 2nd AD together (I was a First LT at the time).

His prior duty station was Hawaii with the Army Marksman unit.  I can't recall his name (driving me nuts!!!) but he encouaged me to become a ham.

I know it's a long shot but who knows?  Thanks!

I was at Ft Hood August 1979 to August 1981, assigned to 3d Signal Brigade as their Chemical Officer (2LT at the time). Perhaps we crossed paths, I lived in Pershing Park and had a 2-element quad. Congratulations on finding your Elmer!
