It seems there is a bit of a revolt going on in PC world. Some OEM's are angry with Microsoft entering PC business with surface tablet. They are beginning to question why they should only support Microsoft with hardware. Acer for one plans the release soon of a 21 inch monitor with built in ARM powered "PC" running Andriod 4.x. Interesting prospect. No pricing available yet.

I don't think it matters which operating system a computer is running, what does matter is if the software you want to run supports the operating system you choose!

I agree but given the popularity of Android it allows you to have same OS on phone and desktop if your a Droid fan.
