Guy's,
I have a older 745 great performer and solid rig, excell comdition.
I need some of the typical repairs. I have the new memory card and need to send t away for other tweaking.

Anyone have any working history with MTS out of toledo WA? I have purchased his board and thinking of sending it off to him for my repairs.
Should I sink another 135.00 with shipping in this rig or sell and move on?
Please keep in mind I am working on a tight budget..
Thank you any insight ..

I have sent a couple radios for repair to MTS. Very reasonable rates.
He put a roofing filter in a friends 756 Pro3.

MTS is the best for Icoms. His rep is impeccable.

I agree with the comments on Scott at MTS.  In terms of fixing the radio, what would it cost you to sell it as a fixer upper and replace it with something else?  That should help you determine what you should do.

I recently sent two different ICOMs to Scott (MTS).  He did an outstanding job and even sent me a sheet where the rigs were checked out in his lab showing that all aspects of the radios met or exceeded original factory specs.

Shipping from SC to WA and back cost more than the repairs.
