I'm new to WriteLog and having a problem.  When the software loads,  it activates the ptt circuit on my RigBlaster and also the cw led comes on.  I'm using version 11.11 of WriteLog.  With N1MM I can control the RTS signal that controls the ptt and the DTR signal that does the cw keying.

I'm able to get the mode and frequency data from my ICOM 746 Pro. But I would like to use the RigBlaster for some digital contacts and log them with WriteLog.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I don't know the exact set of circumstances but on occasion when I open WL with the rig on, the ptt line engages as you describe.  I hit the esc key a few times and all is then fine.  Also, make sure everything is set correctly in the WL ports menu.  K9JY has a great page on the subject.

If N1MM was working Writelog should too...
